Its been another busy week for me since its my daughter’s periodical exam. I want her to study on the coverage of her exam. It started yesterday and it will end on Friday. But since my hubby and I are going to attend a conference on Friday, we have to bring Sydelle with us.

I asked her teacher if she could make an advance exam tomorrow. Good thing her teacher allowed her to take the exam in advance. Now we are loaded in studying her different subjects for the exam. I hope and pray that she could make it good again this time. She got good grades last exam so I hope she could maintain it.

I really find these photo of my mini me so cute! She really looks so geeky or nerd as what they say because of her huge and clear eyeglasses. My geeky little student was ill yesterday co’z she got fever, colds, and cough and she was chilling last night. But even if she’s not feeling well, she still went to school. Thanked God she got well earlier so she was able to go to school. Ive been praying that she will get well since its their long test exam this week and I don’t want her to be absent during their examination period.

She also doesn’t want to get sick that’s why she’s took all her medicines even if she doesn’t like the taste. She’s never been absent since the start of their classes this year. She’s also doing an excellent job in school specially in her academic performance. I’m so proud of my little one! She knows the value of having a good education because she is eager to learn everything. ^_^

Next week were gonna celebrate my daughter’s 5th birthday and as early as today Ive been thinking what to prepare and where to held her birthday party. I saw an enticing promo ad from Country Village Hotel were they have a Family Treat Combo good for 10 persons for only $80. It has a meal option for appetizers, main menu, desserts and drinks. It has also a package inclusion such as free use of swimming pool and free 1 corkage for birthday cake.

My hubby on the other hand, wanted to held our daughter’s birthday at the beach. He wants that we will be the one who will prepare for the foods such as grilled fish and meat, kinilaw, pancit and some desserts. He also want to invite some our friends that’s why he choose the beach. Oh well, I think its a good choice since our budget is not that big enough. Whatever the choice is, as long as our daughter will enjoy her birthday together with her family.

Its been a month since my daughter started schooling in kindergarten and from what I have noticed, their subjects and lessons are quite difficult. Maybe because my daughter did not went to nursery and kinder 1 that’s why I was quite surprised about their lessons in school. Her lessons in kinder 2 is like grade 2 in elementary. They have a Math subject were they have to answer the addition and subtraction, read the problem solving so on and so forth.

Gosh! my daughter don’t know how to read and write yet. She can memorize the alphabet but she can’t recognize the letters. I’m still trying to teach her how to write her name, the abc’s and also teaching her how to read simple words. I can’t force to teach her when she’s not in the mood for studying. I just hope that later on, she will be able to learn how to read and write efficiently.
